MOUNTAINBOARDS

I have seen these out on the streets as a kind of urban snowboard of transportation and something that can also go off-roading while on your two feet.

I went to a local Mountainboard dealer today to look at mountainboards and I found this one on sale for $330.

Has anyone here had experience using or purchasing a Mountainboard? I think they're pretty cool and I am interested in getting started on Mountainboarding.

I think when I was like thirteen and I chipped my front tooth when I fell.

I've snowboarded before but I don't have too much experience.

Riding a mountainboard is like riding a skateboard, only faster, downhill, and on bumpy terrain. I've never actually ridden something technically classified as a "mountainboard" but I have ridden a modified skateboard with giant (about 5 or 6") rubber wheels on it. Me and some friends took some of those things up a hill, and were riding them on mountain bike trails. I hit a tree root fell and broke my arm (it scares the hell out of you whenyou look down at your arm and it's bent in the wrong spot). I had several years experience skateboarding on pavement before that, and the only time I ever broke a bone was the first day I decided to take it off-road.
