Mount my head unit in a hidden location?

I would like to put my factory cd player back into the stock location in my car and mount my new head unit in another location to make the vehicle look totally stock so that it might deter thieves from bothering with my car.

Do you guys have any experience with this?

I'm sure - depending how much effort you put in, and what car it is - that you can mount in the the glove box. I know I've seens some cars with CD changers in there, and I'm talking about the stock ones. But as I said, it depends on the kind of car you're talking about, and the kind of time/money you have to spend on this.
