Motorolla declares defeat over Nokia :)

Nokia are a fantastic example of diversification.

Saying that I gave up my last Nokia in 2003. They haven't dragged me back yet.

Since this thread includes the ability to freely be a grammar policeman, it isn't "Nokia are".

Messageboard threads don't "include" abilities as if they were offerings.

Blackberry and palm are also trying to stay in the game. The whole industry will look sad next to the slickness of the iphone. Can't wait to see what phones look like in three years.

Well I think Nokia won because they produce massive amounts of cheap phones that were the free give aways for starting new service.

Yeah I haven't used a Nokia since the first one I inherited from my brother when he didn't need a cell phone anymore. Do they make any flip phones? With that Nokia I had, I was always making calls from my pocket.

Yes, the iPhone. The phone that:

1) Has no keyboard, which makes entering information a royal pain in the arse, making the phone useless for E-mail composition.

2) Costs $500-$600, placing it well above the cost of buying a Blackberry for communcation and a 30GB iPod for music.

The iPhone is a toy. Interesting, yes. Good-looking, yes. But it's a toy. And an expensive one.
