Share up to 2 Printers with the Motorola WPS870G Print Server
Network printing has always had many benefits ? and one drawback: you had to dedicate a PC to be your print server. Not any more. Motorola's smart new wireless print server is a simple-to-use, stand-alone printing solution that directly connects up to two printers to your home or small office network. Whether you prefer an 802.11g and 802.11b wireless or Ethernet network ? or a combination of both ? the WPS870G delivers network printing functionality.

Both wireless and wired users can simultaneously access and share network printers from almost anywhere in, or around, the home or small office. What?s more, you can also allow outside users, such as friends, clients and vendors, to access your printer over the Internet. And set-up is a breeze with our easy-to-use installation wizard.

Good price. The lowest I've seen without rebates. Ordered 2. Hope it's not a price mistake. Ordered it through tigerdirect. Cost about $16 to ship

Just checked amazon. Tigerdirect sells at the same price through amazon, but shipping is only $5.99 for 2 and $4.49 for 1.

To save on shipping order through amazon.

So do these work with MFC's like the HP Laserjet 3015 and Samsung SCX-4016? Just wondering if you can share fax and copy functions between PC's.

bidirectional, bidirectional, bidirectional

Is this model cabable of true bidirectional operation???
Does the built-in IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) mean bidir will work?

Any print server, wired or wireless genuinely do bidir, these days???

BiDir is always on of the very top questions on print servers.

Especially if it will work with the AIO / MFP scanning abilities!

I failed to find a quick / definitive answer on Motorola's site.
Only one hit on "bidirectional" in the .pdf
http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers...S870G/downloads/WPS870G_User_Guide.pdf
only mentions turning off bidir in Windows as a trouble shooting possibility.

Nice!

Ive had a wireless Netgear print server for a few years now and one of the best purchases I ever made.

Mine only has a parallel port though so may be due for an upgrade.l
