Sorry, stilinsm-

The Motorola rebate form does not specify "Talkabout Plus" as a valid item to redeem the $10 rebate. Only Talkabout FRS, 200's, 250's, and up.

The Talkabout Plus models were discontinued a while ago.

stilinsm - Thanks for listing that deal, even without the rebate it sounds like a decent deal. Just wish I knew some people who owned those units or had some reviews to read on them.

BioHazard617 - Thanks for pointing that out about the rebate form, I still may order these but $20 each is a lot easier to swallow than $30 each. Then again I'm super lazy when it comes to rebate forms.

A better deal would be this:

Motorola Talkabout 280 radio for $45 each from Staples.

First check out their Talkabout 280 for $79.98 with free next-day shipping. Use a Staples $25 off coupon to bring the price down to $55. Use a Motorola $10 mail-in rebate to bring the price down to $45 for each radio. Do this again for how many radios you want, so two pairs would cost you $90. Rebate is valid for up to 4 radios per household. $25 off Staples coupon expires Nov 17.
