From tech bargains, Amazon has them for a decent price, and they offer 5 miles plus included rechargable batteries and charger stand.

But the only review snarks them and I can't find any other reviews. Anyone know anything about them?

These are nice radios, I have the Motorola 5710 ones, they work very well. The battery packs are just 3 AA-NiCad batteries with tabs so they will charge in the desktop charger, however the batteries are lame, I wouldn't waste your time with the battery pack. Just use 3 AA-NiMH batteries and charge them yourself, they'll last longer.

I bought mine at Costco, they have a 2-pack just like these, same NiCad battery packs, same charger, but at Costco you also get different colored face plates and ear buds for each radio, with a PushToTalk button, work really good. Costco has had their pack at $49.50 for MANY months now, and it's still a good deal.

One thing about these, they are not overly loud, even on max volume you have to listen closely, but they are very clear, so you don't have to yell when talking, I've used our's over 5 miles (line of sight in a open area) and they have worked great. We use them for 4wheeling all the time, and skiing with the radio down in a pocket and the earbud in your ear, has a cool CIA/FBI look... :)
