Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth Headset on iPhone 3G

I read an old thread on the apple support site saying that these headphones don't work on the iPhone, but the thread dated back to 2007.

Now that the 3.0 software has been released with updated Bluetooth support, will the S9 and/or the S9-HD headphones work?

Yes, they will now work. Be sure to read the reviews. I passed on them because the BT seem weak, and got the Backbeat 906. I'm a walker, not a runner, but the BT hasn't cut out on me. I can go about 10 feet from my 3GS before the sound starts to cut out. Sound quality is quite good. I was surprised on the level of bass they have, and it's clean, not boomy sounding.

Thanks for the info. I figure if the range totally sucks I can return them. I like the form factor of the S9 a little better so that I can wear sunglasses if I want.
