Motorola Razr V3 Phone $369

Amazon has the hottest phone around in stock - Motorola RAZR V3 Phone (Cingular) $369.99 after rebate, shipped free. GSM, Bluetooth, Aluminum case, MPEG4 Video playback, Camera, Speakerphone.

Wirefly has it for $399.99 after $100 rebate.

This is a hot deal for those who are looking for new service, since it says New Subscribers only on the rebate. Nice phone though. I have been trying to snag one on Egay.

Intelenet has it for $284.99 after two rebates of $100 and $75. I believe you have to wait for your 3rd month's bill before you can submit your rebate forms though.

I don't understand, why is this phone so expensive? The Moto v710 trumps this phone on features, seems like to me. Is it because it's GSM, vs. the 710, which is a trimode?

Thanks for the wirefly link...amazon supposedly has problems with migrating T-Mobile numbers over to Cingular, and I have to port 3 phones over, so I don't know how the rebates work in that case. oy.

Thanks, but it's still too expensive for me. Once these go under 200 I'll buy one for sure.

It's currently the only all metal body casing phone available on the market.
But other than that...V551 is just the same for 1/2 the price.

just a super nice gadget just in time for xmas...

it's the thinest and the slickest phone on the market... with the all metal case.

i'll wait until it drops under $200.

Real likely.

Amazon continues to drop price and increase rebates.
it'll be below $200 in alil bit most likely.

There will be a time when this phone will be worth $20 on Ebay, granted that may take a few years but that time will come. There already was some deal where it was $299 with new activation somewhere do a search. So this isn't a flaming hot deal or anything, and after Christmas when everyone is all broke is when they'll cut prices to get more sales. They might even reduce MSRP on it after Christmas.

One other thing it is a good thing to have used a Motorola before getting this, otherwise the phonebook may drive you crazy along with the fact that it erases half-written text messages if you close the phone. Motorolas have an incorrigibly bad UI.

You're kidding, Verizon takes the only Bluetooth phone they have and castrates Bluetooth? Are they stupid or something?

I am wondering if for sure I can hook this phone up to my laptop, "dial in" and get online where ever there is a signal. I have bluetooth on my IBM Thinkpad T42.

Has anyone ordered from this place before? Unbelievably, they have quite a few deals better than amazon's.

friend bought this phone for 600 bucks before anyone had it, im going to wait until Motorola fixes the bugs on this phone. Amazon will most likley have this for 200 bucks next year......
