i wanna know a few things

RAZR - i read it's quad band so that means i can use it in the Philippines right? (ASIA), also could i swap out the SIM card with a local SIM card from the Philippines and use it as an INT'L phone?

also, is the coverage in Houston good? i don't want constant lost of signals / drop calls / etc

lmk, thanks ;)

you would more than likely have to get the phone unlocked. most gsm phones come locked from their respective cellular companies to only accept sims from their company. you would need to call cingular to see if they will give you the code to unlock the phone or there are websites that walk you through the process. some phones require the inputing of a number, like nokia phone, or others require different roms. not sure about the razr.

as far as how cingular is in houston, don't know, sorry
