How do you figure out the appropriate numbers to call when you receive a phone number in text format?

For example 1800 COMCAST

how do you know what numbers to dial without trying to memorize them?

My client asked me the same question. I thought of a ghetto solution, but it works. I googled for the image of a phone keypad, cropped it and resized it. So he needs to look in his photo albums on the Q for this cheat sheet.

Seriously. I just looked for high-res cell phone keypads, then used Picasa to handle the detail work.

This is one of my gripes about most qwerty smartphones.

Here's a fix by replacing the dialer's carrier logo with a graphic with the correct letters/keys.

<--- has no idea how to initiate or end a call using a cell phone. I'm thinking about getting the MotoFone when it comes out even later this year. I like my stuff simple.
