Thanks! My V3c battery was also getting a little weak, and this is a great deal. I've been very pleased with the phone and hope to keep it for a while, so I bought two.

great thanks OP! motorola original too!

my battery sucks. i can talk for one hour conference call on the cell and after that it would start giving me battery low messages with the annoying beeps that even the silent mode can't shut it up. but the battery can end up lasting the rest of the day with no issues

that is until it annoys the heck out of me and i turn it off for good

i may get 2 here! thanks so much!

That damn low batter to beep is so annoying. Plus the phone dont have low power mode.
So if you go into area wiht no single (my server room) if just keep searching for a single draining the power. In the server room my phone goes to low battery in 6 hours. Just sitting on my desk I got almost 2 days. Time for a new battery.

Yeah, I've had the same experience with the original battery -- it seems to have a small charge and it drains very rapidly when in a no-signal area. Thanks for the deal OP.

Is it just my imagination or does the phone work more quickly with a fresh battery? I have a V3c with Verizon firmware, and it was getting very laggy in flipping through the menus - with the new battery it seems perky again.

i have the verizon v3c, the first thing i did after getting it was to flash it to the alltel firmware. the stock verizon is so laggy and stupid.

and i can enable bluetooth file transfer/file push with the alltel firmware.

Thanks but I'm not really interested in changing firmware - I actually use Get It Now from time to time, and don't want to risk turning the phone into a paperweight.

Motorola batteries last no more than a year tops. My girlfriend had battery issues and when she called motorola they asked her if she charges her phone overnight. Apparently charging it more than 3-4 hours is bad for the battery. She of course lied and said "never overnight!" Dont most people on the planet charge their when they go to bed?

Makes you wonder what kind of monkeys work for motorola.

i charge mine when i go to bed, and i sleep more than 4 hours. charging it more than 4 hours kills it? that's BS. i used to do that to my old nokia and never a problem with battery

but since the battery is cheap here, i got 2 of these RAZR batteries, i told my gf to try it, normally her battery dies when she comes home from work (after 2 subway trips)

Yeah they told her more than whats printed hurts the battery. We all know its BS but I guess thats their legal way of getting out of any warranty issues. Had she said "yeah I do charge overnight" her warranty would have been void....lol!

it's funny, my old battery for the RAZR would start giving out battery low warning and beeps after about 30 minute of talk time, yet if i dont do anything about it it can still last the whole damn day (annoying beeps throughout the entire day FTW)

i think its just the battery indicator or some sort of meter within the battery that reports wrong information. but anyway, my gf already saying the new battery is much better and doesn't beep after 2 subway rides without using the phone like her old battery was doing.

That is not the same battery as supplied in the V3M ... my V3M came with what is labeled
as a 780MaHr Battery ... the one on sale is only a 700MaHr unit ... probably what originally
came with V3C sets ... There are higher capacity batteries available up to 1400MaHr, but
you need a battery door that is thicker which ruins the phone's slim profile.

Price bumped to 12.95, shipping still free. Maybe in for one... I'll be buying a new phone in 3 months anyhow, so maybe I can survive with my existing crappy battery till then.
