Using a cheap Motorola G. Looking to maybe change to a slightly faster (this phone lags randomly) but would like to spend under $250. Not a brand name snob and the carrier would be T-Mobile.

Prefer a 5"+ screen with insane battery life

Not sure if att or tmobile version.

LG G2

I believe the G2 is the ATT version? Check on the bands, will still probably work on t-mobile.

Or you can get the t-mobile version from...

While the M8 is very nice, the G2 is the best you can get for $200.

G2 is and has been such a good deal for so long. That M8 is nice for 300 too, a gen newer, but not sure its worth 100 more then a G2.

WiFi calling does not matter. It is not supported on the Wal-mart/T-Mobile 100 min, 5 gb data plan.

Ordered! ended up paying slightly more for the T-Mobile branded one just in case the 5% chance I want to use the WiFi calling. @ $220 still a steal compared to my current phone. Thanks again!

It's supported but it will still use up your minutes IIRC, but really the point of WiFi calling is to have a better signal available in this case.

Yeah I bought a G2 at 250 a couple months ago and another at 200 for relatives. It's such an amazing phone for the price, especially with 32gb storage and great battery life.

While phones like the Moto G are great, especially on sale, I much prefer getting ex-flagships for similar prices for users who don't need the newest and best.

i can vouch for the G2. I"ve had mine for about 3 months.
the battery life is incredible.
for my usage, i'm getting 7-8hrs of screen on time.

I wish I didn't have a Nexus 5 so that I would want to buy the G2.

this is actually a significant source of distress in my life.

If the G2 had Qi wireless charging...I would sell my Nexus 5 and get it.

edit: on second though I can get an aftermarket wireless charge to micro-USB interface and a case (would be getting case anyway...hm...hm...)
