I just ran across this new service at Motorola.com while looking for a firmware update for my Motorola phone and thought it was so cool I had to post about it.
1) You must have a motorola phone to use the service
2) I really don't know how secure this service is. I don't store anything important or sensitive on my computer so I'm not too worried about security. Maybe someone else can play with it to find out.
To set it up:
1) go here and sign up for an account.
2) Download the 3.47Mb program and run it.
3) go to http://motorola.avvenu.com on ANY web-enabled device such as your phone, PSP, computer, whatever and log in.
4) Browse, download, and view files from anywhere.
Now I know there are services out there that work the same way, like GoToMyPC but this is totaly free and extremely easy to set up.
If you don't like it, please don't flame me. I'm posting this for the benefit of people like me (college student) who may leave homework on their computer at home and need a last-minute way to access and print it.
