I was checking out some phones to get for AT&T and the Motorola Atrix 4G looks awesome and apparently releasing March 1st which is right around the time I'd be looking at a new phone. I saw some posts regarding Motorola not allowing some changing in their phones. I don't mind not having total control over it. I just want to be able to update the android platform as it upgrades because I know some phones don't allow that. I would like to not be forced using some UI that slows down the phone usage (if that appears to happen).
I also will be purchasing a phone outright because I have a good deal on a plan doing just that. I'm not sure if I'll need to go back to the store to have some numbers changed or if i can just swap the sim card out of the current meh phone i have now. I was hoping someone could answer some questions.
