ive been riding since i was 15 or so, never used ear plugs. it shows tho, im half deef now. thats partly due to concerts tho.
 
Any 1/2 mile straight?
New England doesn't have many of those on our back roads (twisties galore!) but they're there. And highways are 160+. (Although on two lane I don't like passing at much over 120.)



It's snug. It just rotates down and pushes back at 140.

It should be more than snug. Put it on and tighten the straps, now try to twist the helmet around on your head or pull it off from the back. It should stay in place. If you can twist it around or pull it off, it is too big for you.

I haven't had my bike up over 140mph so I can't comment on this other than to say your helmet might not be sized correctly.
