I am about to purchase a Suzuki SV650S (heres the post about it). Now, I need to buy myself some accessories. Anyone know where I can get some good deals on covers, locks and gloves. Im in the Los Angeles are so if anyone knows some B&M stores in the area that would be helpful too. Thanks

i dunno anything specific to your bike (nice bike, btw), but when i was looking for a rear tire for my gixxer, i went online and found that everywhere OUTSIDE of michigan (where i live) is charging around ~$115. In michigan, for whatever reason, they're charging anywhere from $190-$215. I called up my dealership and asked if they guaranteed prices. They said they would as long as it didn't hit below cost. Soo....they were unable to match the $115, but they did sell it to me for $160, which was 10% above their cost, I wasn't thrilled with the price, but i had to have it yesterday or today....and overnight shipping is about $50, so i broke even with no waiting time.

btw...i saw the low price for my tire @ arizona motorsports

depends on what you want- I'd go to Bert's in Covina to try stuff on (they're between the 10 and the 210 off of Azusa) or if you don't mind driving a bit, Chaparral in San Bernadino... find what you want, then order it online. I got my Arai RX7-RR4 from brocktoncycles.com for $417 shipped. You might have some trouble finding Arai helmets online because as of December or so of 2001, they changed some policy so that only B&M's sell them, but if you can find one manufactured before 9/01 I think, then online retailers are still allowed to sell them. I also bought a Fieldsheer mesh jacket which was around $100. I'm waiting on a pair of Wintex gloves from moto-heaven.com. As for other vendors, check out parts411.com (they're in San Dimas, so you can call in and pick up your order to save on shipping costs) and ask for Charlie... I went in and he answered a lot of questions that I had. They also pricematch most other sites but remember that since you're in CA, you're gonna have to pay sales tax. I asked him about a pair of Spidi gloves that cyclemall.net had on a blowout, only to find out that both parts411 and cyclemall use the same distributor, and that they were on blowout because they were being discontinued. Oh, I also got a Kyroptonite EV disc lock from Brockton for $30 if I remember correctly. I'm waiting to find a pair of riding boots and a chain lock before school starts up again.
