well, im gonna be taking my test today i think. just started leafing through the manual. any particular things to focus on? what kind of questions do they ask on the permit exam?

just trying to get a step closer to taking the msf course and get my license.

Look up your state laws. In Michigan, when you take the MSF course, there are 2 parts, Skill and Knowledge. As long as you pass the Skill test (actual riding tests), you automatically are approved your motorcycle license.
 
If you read the manual you will not fail the motorcycle written test.

Here in CA it included questions from all parts of the book so don't skip anything.
