Motorcycle Insurance...

I just called my insurance company... and i asked how much would a 2002 R1 or GSX-R750 be... get this... $6,000/year. :Q Whoa... im 21 in Los Angeles with 1 point on my record. He just laughed at me when I asked him if he was crazy... turns out that a lot of squids are buying these bikes and end up crashing them all over the place. :frown: Hmmm... so i then asked how much would a 2001 Ducati 748 be... he said $900/year... :Q...LOL... hahaha... Im as young as some of those squids but i definitely do not wring the hell out of my bike, as crappy as it is, on the street. Its bad enough riding in the city...

Else try Universal Underwriters.. they gave me a decent rate, about 25 less than Geico, but I went with Geico cause I knew the company. Apparently Univeral Underwriters is big in the recreation world.

Also look at Pacific Speciality - Its a McGraw company.

I found huge differences in insurance when i shopped. Those so called "lowest car insurance" or "lowest insurance anywhere" dont touch the people above. I got quoted 4000 from Survival Insurance, I sort of laughed it off. The thing is Geico doesnt take bad drivers unlike Progressive and that is why progressives quotes are so much more higher.
