Motorcycle fetish?

is it just me or has there been a surge in the number of people who want a motorcycle now? about 3 years ago i didn't have any friends who wanted a motorcycle or even talked about it... now i have about 10-15 friends who own one or either want one really bad (and is probably going to get one).

I guess it's a fad. For a little while I wanted a bike. I wouldn't mind having one, but I would probably die very quickly.
