<< And Hyundai??? Augh... >>

30 years ago, that's what the American public said about Japanese cars. You better watch what you're saying. Korean cars have improved dramatically. 10 years ago I remember everyone laughing their asses off at the Daewoo/Pontiac/Vauxhall Le Mans. Worst car ever, IMO. Now Korea is going in the right direction by following the herd(much like Honda did), offering the best warranty, and improving ever so slowly, but surely. Hyundai will kick ass one day, and the HCD-III touring the autoshows 5-6 years ago is proof of that.

One day? Sure - it's possible. But this is now! Hyundai's are....Hyundai's...

Their only decent offering IMO was the Tiburon (when they first came out).

Mister T...

The 330 and M3 is part of the 3-Series which debuted last year...and lost to the Lincoln LS for Car of the year.

The 530 and M5 is part of the 5-Series which debuted in 97....which won Motor Trend's 1997 Import Car of the Year.

I agree with SuperGroove...Hyundai is shaping up to be a major player...now that they got the backing of DaimlerChrysler. 2 years ago, I thought they were dead...especially seeing that many of their employees at their headquarters in SoCal were not driving Hyundai's.

pronto - I completely agree with you. Hyundai bounced back big time - they have a ways to go though. In my eyes, they're on par with Kia in my eyes..make what you will of that :p ;)

Hyundai may be a player in 10 years but right now:

Hyundai = Hope You Understand, Nothing's Drivable and Inexpensive
