New Suburus are over-bloated land barges. Subaru = Fail.

Give me a '97 Legacy any day over these new crap models that are bigger than many SUVs.

Recent models are larger, but they didn't gain much weight at all.

Anyway, the US market as a whole wants larger cars, Subaru is delivering what the market is requesting, and Subaru is continueing to sell more cars each year.
Welcome to the Free Market.... deal with it.

They blew it, IMO. They are going to alienate a lot of traditional loyal Outback buyers who would not be caught dead in an SUV, but want the capability of the AWD off road wagon. Now they are just another crossover SUV entry, and they already had that. So they abandoned a loyal niche to have a redundant product in a much more competitive segment.
