let's see, where to start?

first of all, everyone has a razr. i go to a mall and i see at least 5 people carrying a razr.

it has old technology. the camera is only VGA, it can't play mp3s, and the OS is just based off an older phone. (v600 i believe)

finally, did i mention everyone has one? something that is owned by a lot of people depreciates the value of the item immediately. i don't understand what the hype about the razr is.

I bought one. I don't use my phone for mp3, web browsing, or for its camera (that's what a digicam is for). I use it for placing calls! The V3 does this just fine, and the design is great. It's all I need in a phone.
 
i love mine. i use verizon. updated to Alltel firmware and no menu lag 😀
i dont need much from a phone, if i want mp3 i have my ipod, if i want to take pictures i have my pentax camera. or my axim if i need pda functions

people should try to stop making phones have 100 different useless features. and start making them work better and better reception. that is why i stick with verizon even with their ugly phone. the Razr v3c released me from their ugliness though. i now have a half decent looking phone that works great and has reception most of everywhere
 
1. My razr plays mp3's just fine
2. I don't care what phone other people have. I didn't buy it because everyone had it, nor would I buy a phone because nobody else had it. Not buying a phone because everyone has is is just as dumb as buying a phone b/c everyone has it.
3. At $30 after rebate, the price was right.

The samsung T809 is a SWEET phone... much higher res screens than the RAZR. My roommate has one, and it pwns the razr


but, I have a razr... which I got for free from the business I work for (which they also pay for all my calls and messages) so I really have nothing to complain about.

I like the way it feels in your pocket. Can't hardly tell it's there.

edit: woops, I thought the T809 was the flip phone that kinda looks like the RAZR... But I'm sure the slider is sweet too. I actaully like the slider design better on phones.

Who the hell is worried about depreciation accumulating on their phone? And yes I have a RAZR and so do half of my friends....why?....because it looks better than 95% of the phones out there (including new ones), it gets awesome reception, and it is THIN. I could care less if everyone has one. Im not the guy with a thick phone in my pocket compensating for something else.

When your current contract ends, I'll sell you my RAZR unlocked.

Why did it cease to be neat when other got one? Did their purchase of the same model of phone remove features in your phone?
 
As far as a phone. It's great. Better then my hyped pwns all for reception LG. I have the Verizon V3c. soon it will have the alltell hack so I can have the moto ui.
pics-okay, but that is what digi cams are for.
video-fun to play with, but nothing else. that is what digi-camcorders are for.
web-fun to play with
Vcast-expensive, but passes the time for laundry day.
dishwasher-it sucks at this. I am wrote Motorola for leaving this feature out. They replied with a suggestion to get a submissive wife.
mp3 player-I have a Dell DJ Ditty for the gym, and a Dell DJ20 for all other uses.
Spades partner-Horrible. Bags the hell out of every bid.

best phone ive ever had.. oh and mine has a 1.3 megapixel camera.. its the v3c cdma one... its sexy. it fits in my pocket nice. best reception of any phone ive ever had. i dont give a sh1t what other people have... seems like you are a little too superficial.

yup. people got phones with all the doodads and never used any of the features and realized it was mostly a big waste of time. just get a slim stylish PHONE!! lol🙂
pics even on the best camera phone are totally lame. mp3? drain my phones batteries..thats unwise and a pain to deal with shuffling songs on and off a small capacity. games? dude, thats just lame, games on cellphones are just a feature for the marketing department to fill ad space with. and on and on..lots of features all half assed and useless.
