They should just EOL this POS. Galaxy Tab is much sexier and the Transformer has a better entry price.
Anyone who buys a tablet.. any of them.. at this point in the form factor's lifetime has no right to complain about not having any/enough money.
I can think of a lot better ways to spend a few hundred dollars that will provide infinitely more fun/satisfaction per dollar.
You say that, but I have gotten more use out of my Nook Color than any digital device I have had in five years. It has assassinated my Netbook- I never use it anymore.
It completely depends on your intended usage.
Well, the Nook isn't really a tablet to most of the people who buy it.. it's an e-reader.
Its has a LCD color screen, runs Android and has the ability to purchase apps even without jailbreaking. Even though it is sold as an eReader, the feature-set says its a tablet.
The thing that makes it useful is the e-reader functionality, not apps.
That is completely your opinion.
Define "nice and polished." The fact that it revolves around itunes for dummies is not polished in my book, it's called restrictive and annoying. The lack of features like expandable storage is pathetic. The ipad is an overhyped, overpriced toy that sells purely on brand recognition, despite being inferior to Android tablets.
Not really...
If someone uses it for apps/Internet instead of e-reading, it's not being used for anything extra or anything truly different than what they are already using a desktop PC, laptop, netbook, or smartphone for. The only thing it offers them is a slight improvement in convenience... and in an economy such as ours putting money toward something that's only a little more convenient than what they already have does make them look stupid when they complain about not having any or enough money... which was the point I was making.
