Moto Droid 2.1 Update Issue

I received my 2.1 update yesterday and somthing that I've noticed and was wondering if anyone else has this same issue. Is that my wireless signal 3G and cell reception fluctuates sporadically. I will have 3G and service one minute next it's gone and then it's back. This issue was not present before the update and I did a factory reset on it as well same results.

I was wondering if anyone had insight as to why this is happening or if I should call Verizon with this issue.

I've been running 2.1 ROMs for a few weeks (currently Ultimate Droid 9.0) and there is no difference that I've seen.
Verizon has also pushed out a new baseband, which affects the radio reception on the phone. Are you running the newest?
Settings > about phone > baseband version
does yours end in 3P?? that's the newest

re-program your phone
*228
option 1
then do
*228 option 2 for good measure.

Yup mine ends in 3P. I have reprogrammed it and updated the PRL.
