Motivation to clean out my car!

Last week I got a drive thru breakfast on the way to an important meeting. I noticed that there was a monopoly thing on the hash browns, checked out what I got, free burger and Boardwalk. I thought to myself, oh, Boardwalk must be the easy one this time because there's no way I ever win anything. Tossed it in the ashtray and forgot about it all.

Well, I was with my daughter at McD's this morning and she got Park Place - Whoa!

My memory's probably playing tricks on me. I'm sure it wasn't really Boardwalk - I was not paying attention (that was a VERY important meeting) - but maybe, just maybe . . .

It 's not in the ashtray, no surprise. Didn't see it on the floor - but my car has lots of stuff in it.

Time to clean out the car! Wish me luck.

Reminds me of a question I asked my wife last week. Is it better to spend $5 a week on the Lottery for your entire life and never win, or never play and write down your pick on a piece of paper and have thos numbers come out in a drawing?

Yup, its 1 million, and only 1 boardwalk was printed.

The odds of winning a prize is incredibly high. I think the odds of winning $500 is 1 in 14 million and the odds of winning the grand prize is 1 in 14 billion.

I threw out "Bane" from the Batman and Robin collect and win game at Taco Bell some years back.
Turns out it was the rare piece for $20,000. Whoops.

UPDATE: this kind of cleaning takes a long time - I have to look at every tiny piece of everything! Had to stop when it started raining, since I don't have indoor parking.

The good news is that so far I've found a paycheck from a couple months ago, and tons of old lottery tickets, one of which is worth $150. Lots more car crud to go!

I'm taking off work tomorrow so that I can finish the job right.
