I have 2 hours left at work.....no tech calls today so I've been just sitting on my a$$. I have my lappy, and my rough draft for the paper. But I feel I'd rather just surf and peruse AT rather than write about the Predator/prey relationships of Dendrobatid species.

You should realize how much of an idiot you'll be if you keep hitting F5 in order to read posts from people telling you to do your paper, instead of actually spending that time doing the paper.

If you already have the rough draft just type it for christ's sake...

Well it ain't quite that simple. I've aquired some more reference literature, and ideas for more subsections of the topic. (which is good considering the page limit is 20...which equals 10 in real life. But I'm still under 5 full pages. While I realize it's quality, not quantity; I must have some quantity to validate the quality)

I graduated today and recieved a nice little diploma from college and if you want one you should finish your paper.

I know these papers... They're awfully hard to write. I mean, very few people actually like writing them. I don't, but I have to. I suggest you think how great it will be when the paper is finished, this is the best motivation for me.

You are following an antipattern that will more likely demotivate you than motivate you to write your paper.

If you want to motivate yourself, fix yourself.

I know these papers... They're awfully hard to write. I mean, very few people actually like writing them. I don't, but I have to. I suggest you think how great it will be when the paper is finished, this is the best motivation for me.

The big rub is that there's very little scientifically published info on my topic. (Predator/prey relationships of Dendrobatid species)....Dendrobatids are the poison dart frog family for anyone who cares.

I've scoured the 'net looking for peer reviewed sources (stuff from periodicals like Journal of Herpetology, Oecologia, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science of the United States of America)...further, even when I do find sources, my library will only have a 1/10th of them.

I shoulda picked a topic like "Painted turtle distribution"....but this one's way cooler.

Good thing to know that as soon as I'm done with this one, I have to start another paper on cell signaling pathways involving receptor tyrosine kinases...due thursday. assigned just last thursday. :| grrrrrrrrr!!!!

Mostly, I just feel like b!tching about it because I've running on sh!t for sleep this week because of other classes. (namely CS)
