Religion like Politics is a chosen belief. If Conservatives can bash Liberal beliefs and vice versa why should religious beliefs be spared?

I don't see why he wasn't banned right then and there. I don't recall advocation of violence toward any given group being allowed here ever.
I'm not even a normal P&N visitor, but I have to second Fausto's motion. I'm not sure I, as a community member of these forums, want to see them degenerate to the point where that's commonplace.
