Motion detector night light?

I have an indoor night light in my house so i can see where i am going at 3am in the morning.

but they stay on all night long, and i have to change the light bulb every 90 days or so. and sometimes i'm too lazy to change it immediately so when i goto the kitchen in the middle of the night, i bump into things. and i dont want to turn on the main lights because it hurts my eyes going from 0 light to full bright.

so anyway, do motion detector night lights exist? These turn on only at night and when it senses motion.

if so, where? LINK?

Try getting a clapper and connect it to your night light. Then you can clap and your night light will turn on. 🙂

Interesting concept.

If they don't exist, you could get a cheap-a$$ motion sensing floodlight from Home Depot and rewire the socket with a nightlight socket. It'd be kinda Frakenstein-ish, but it'd work.

BTW, if you do find any products that do this, let me know please. I too would be interested in getting some.

I've seen them at Target, or Walmart, or Menard's, or Home Depot, or my (good) local hardware store, or possibly in a dream I had.

But seriously, they are available. Just look around.
