Motion Blur

I just got an lg l203wt 20" widescreen monitor and when I move fast in games I get motion bluring. I was wondering if the problem could be my video card, its only a geforce ti4200 oc'd to 300/700. I didn't notice the bluring when I played a game in the store. I also don't get any bluring when watching movies.

Turning Vsync worked for my on my 20". Mine wasn't so much of a blur as it was tearing. At first I thought it was due to low response times on my lcd, but turning vsync on completely eliminated the problem, thank god.

I had the same experience as Thorny. Horrible without vsync, but perfect with it enabled.

Thanks for replying but turning Vsync on didn't help. I guess it must be the monitor. Any other suggestions? If not I guess i'll just have to return it, luckily I can get a full refund. 🙂

Motion blur/ghosting generally comes from the monitor, not the video card.
