mother's maiden name pwd info NOT https

I had the temporary snafu with cookies from images.anandtech.com and dynamic.anandtech.com not being enabled.

During the course of figuring that out and trying to post threads in this "Forum Issues" forum, I was requested to login.

I used my regular login, but then got passed on to a Mother's maiden name question.
That link was *NOT* https.
I submitted a dummy name, that I intend to correct shortly.
(And the page that accepted my dummy name was, *ALSO*, *NOT* https).

That doesn't seem right, to me.

I hear ya. That's normally the info they ask for credit card stuff, too.

We are not going to use https here, user favorite pet or put anything you want in there. This is not an issue.
