I am building a new build, what motherboard (intel chipset) would you recommend?

I'm going to use a QX9650 and plan to overclock, DDR2 1066mhz corsair dominator ram.

I was considering to buy a DFI LP LT X48-T2R, what do you think? Do you think i will have trouble with it since i'm new to overclocking?

Any suggestions are very appreciated

Thanks! :)

have you already bought / got the qx9650? if so, i dont think you will need a killer board like the dfi, since you have the unlocked multiplier. maybe take a look at the asus p5e or something similar, or wait for the upcoming p45 boards if possible.

oh, i meant by killer board that it was quite a high end motherboard which could run with a high fsb, but since you have the extreme chip already, i think that with the unlocked multiplier that you dont need extreme fsb speeds, and you could save a little money by getting a lower cost x38 board. it also depends on how far you want to overclock and what kind of cooling ou are going to use too.
