I know that intel chipsets 945 and 955 support the Pentium D. However, I need a mobo that can support dual core and AGP, is there such a thing?

Had the same problem but found one that supports Dual core, DDR1 and DDR2 (not at the same time) and AGP and PCIe video. Here ya go...

ASRock 775Dual-880Pro $58

The reviews I have seen say DDR2 and PCIe perform faster but I am using AGP (9800) and 2 512mg slabs of DDR1 and it is pretty fast. Not a super overclocker as there seems to be no voltage adjustment for the CPU but I do have my 2.8Ghz P4 running at 3.1ghz on default voltage. Not much, but hey its a free 300mhz :) Just make sure to update the Bios to the new 1.10. The 1.00 has some bugs but still works.
