I am in the research phase for replacing my ancient laptop with a new desktop.
The location of the computer means no ethernet cable. I asked in the networking section about powerline vs. the AC wifi standard and that discussion is on going,

but as I searched parts the following asrock board came up:

and I was wondering if anyone has any views on motherboards with the built in wifi. There is an ASUS board with basically the same features but it is $40-50 more than the asrock.
The reviews on newegg are generally positive, but I seldom trust those...
