Hello,
I'm thinking of going with an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (or possibly another nForce3 Ultra board) and I was wondering if the nForce3 provided for native SATA (no F6 during install). I know most motherboards only include native SATA support from the main chipset with additional ports added via another chipset. Are there any motherboards that include more than 2 native SATA ports?
To give you an idea of what I'm trying to do... I am going to be upgrading my computer here soon and I want to go with all SATA drives (including the CD-ROM). I plan on having 2 hard drives (1 raptor for OS/Games and 1 large drive for storage) plus 1 or 2 SATA DVD-RW's (currently plextor is the only one).
So what do you guys think?
As always, thanks!
-Pete
