I think it does. I was recommended to spend more on a mobo a few years back and I have not been sorry. I hvae been able to upgrade the CPU and add 4 SATA drives. I can still add another 4 if I want to. I plan to convert this machine into a server box in a few years time, so it will be good for that too. 4 extra drives in a RAID 5 setup - easy 2T bytes.

The mobo is the backbone of your PC so make it good. Other components change rapidly - CPU and Graphics.

And if you do want to experiement with OC'ing, then you have the board.
