motherboard wont post anymore and just does restart loop

System posted 2 times but now it just turns on for a second then just goes into a restart loop cpu fan spins for a second then stop when it turns off then back on no post now at all.

Tried 1 ram stick in different slots
pulled cmos battery for 5 mins
took out everything except the 24 pin and 8 pin
No os is installed didnt use the disk that came with the mobo

Were you overclocking? I have been having issues with my Gigabyte board not accepting settings that actually WORK and are stable and this is what happenes. Try clearing the Cmos, that should do it.

Mine would stop if I left it off for a while. usually 5 minutes or so

once....took hours
