Excuse the lack of knowledge in Motherboards, I have this computer with a G33M..(there is other numbers or figures, G33Mo2 OR G33M02) installed that was my Son's computer while he was in the USA

I wish to get a manual(original left in USA) for this and perhaps increase the RAM(4slots - 2 used) and get another SATA HD(1 already here 250Gb)

I have done a GOOGLE of G33M.. amd have lots of other Boards, not excatly the same as the one here and not knowing what is here and whats on the Web

After a long time of running with a very slow computer, then updating to a little faster computer, and now have thie MAGIC DELL with 2 sticks of RAM inside and need a Video Card to off-load the Memory used onboard, its nearly to the stage of BURNING RUBBER and a nice wide sreen to go with it

It has 4 slots for RAM, 2 used

2 fans - 1 over the CPU, 1 on the rear

4 slot for SATA 2 used, 1 HD, other DVD

REAR
300 Watt power supply

2 white slots, rear bottom 1 used with a card with 2 ports something like USB but look like diagram of a house lying down

1 very small slot, above using funny different outputs, maybe for Blue Cable

1 more above Black Slot about the same size as the White one below

3 pairs of outlets for Speaker, Woofers, MIC
4 USB's
1 video port onboard, its been sussgested to get a Video Card to off the load the RAM used

12in x 12in board and in the middle below the CPU is a Aluminum HEAT SINK, on the board itself is G33MO2 or G33M02

FRONT
4 more USBs on a Multi card reader

I have done my best to cover most things here, some I dont know others I forgot

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

Do you have a digital camera? A picture is worth a thousand words.

Normally, but then not always; the motherboard type/ model name will be on the facing side of the motherboard. For example on ASUS boards, it will be found between the PCI/PCI-e slots along with the revision number (rev 1.0) etc. If you can shine a flashlight in there and maybe move the cables around you may find the full name. When and if you find the full name, google the model. It will take you to various places, one of which will be the motherboard maker. Then go to their website and at SUPPORT > DOWNLOADS, you should be able to find the Manual and download it as a PDF file.
Hope this helps.

This is an OEM board made by Foxconn, typically used by Dell. For manuals and specs, you'd need to locate them on Dell's website (or another OEM that uses it).

It does sound like the Foxconn G33M in the Dell Vostro 200 I purchased a couple years ago. The layout was the same on the PCB, but the rear I/O panel differed (no PS/2 ports for one) and of course the BIOS differed.

Eh, that's strange. I could swear that I had found a board on Foxconn's site that pretty much matched except for the I/O area. Ah well, that was a few years ago.

HI ALL :)

I have MY EXTRA (paired kit)RAM in place :) also got a Video card in as well with a FAN so I am to believe this will get to the BURNING RUBBER stage :)

I have been around everywhere getting lost trying to understand what board I do have here, I have been told what I had printed out was the GENERAL printout of these boards, so with this in mind I will try to keep it in good shape

All I have seen, and asked have told me is a good computer, I will hasve to ask more to my IT tech friend about things being hot on a program (speedfan)that I have here showing me how hot things get, again not knowing what all these things say or mean

THANKS to ALL for your replies
