Background: I just installed a new motherboard in an E-Machine case using the existing power supply. It is a MicroATX ASUS P3B-1394 board. It has an Intel 440BX AGPset, Slot 1, 100FSB. The reason I used this board is it closely matched the old board that died in the E-Machine. Installed on the board is a PIII 500, Voodo 3 2000 2X AGP Video card, 320MB RAM, 13GB HD, 8X DVD, 56K modem, loaded with Win 98SE. The BIOS is an Award v4.51PG, 10/28/99-i440BX-P3B-1394C-00 Rev. 2002.

Here is the problem: When I power up everything works fine but during the post it stops and says an error occured, check the power management in the bios setup. I go there and under the Voltage Monitor it lists the following:
VCORE Voltage : 2.0V
+3.3V Voltage : 3.2V
+5V Voltage : 5.1V
+12V Voltage : 11.9V
-12V Voltage : -12.0V
-5V Voltage : -12.0V (ERR)

The last voltage setting is not correct. Does anybody know why this would be sending the wrong voltage and if it could potentially damage the motherboard? If I bypass the error or disable it, the computer seems to run fine. Thanks in advance for any help!
