I recently built a system using an Intel DP35DP motherboard and an Intel E6550 chip.

It may reboot every 10 minutes or so, or it may run for a couple of hours before rebooting.

I have been to the Intel web site and downloaded the appropriate patches, BIOS etc.

Does any one have any suggestions to fix this?

I am running 1 SATA drive and 1 SATA DVD player.

All components are new.

I have had the problem with 2 board and 2 hard drives so I thinnk it is a board issue.

I wouold hate to go back to XP.
Thanks.

If you've had the problem with 2 boards, then it likely is not a mobo issue. Most likely PSU or RAM.

THanks.
I'll make a swap and see if it cure it or kills it.
I travel a lot so it may take me a while to get back to you.

Run Memtest 86+, let it run 3-8 hours, if nothing turns up, get a replacement PSU.
