i want to upgrade my motherboard because my motherboard right now cant handle anything but pci cardswhen i upgrade i know i will have to have a windows install disk to run windows from the existing hard drive using the repair function

i have windows media center, and i was wniodering if i could use a windows home or professional intallation disk to repair it if it would still work
