I'm reformatting my computer again after various problems and I started to wonder are there other updates I need besides the CD my computer came with? I bought it from IBuypower in 2005 and I believe it is a evga k8n sli motherboard. I was wondering the same for the CPU which is a 3700+.
 
All you need is your hardwares' drivers. The cd that came with the mobo will have drivers for onboard devices only. you'll have to get drivers for your VGA from Nvidia.
 
Thanks, I knew about all the other drivers I needed obviously, 😛 but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing drivers for some other stuff.
