Motherboard - too many variants!

Hi All

Newbie here. Haven't built my own PC in ten years!

I'm not fussed at all about overclocking so I have configured this:

Corsair 400R Carbide
Corsair AX850 or 1200
Asus P877V-PRO
i7 3770
Corsair H40
EVGA GTX670 SC 4GB

Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2*8) just 1600MHz
Corsair Neutron GTX (120GB) *2 (RAID 0)

I'm trying to get the best quality components I can as it'll probably be another ten years before I upgrade again!

I'm confused about Motherboards if I am to be honest. Should I get the P877-V Premium as it will be better if I want to run in SLI at full x16/x16 at a later date?

Asus is my go to mobo. Building a new gaming computer, not so much into oc...however to sli you might consider the Asus ROG Rampage IV. Expensive, but gives you the full 16x16. The P877 v Premium is no longer available, on Newegg anyway. I myself am torn between the P877-V Pro and the Rampage version because of the sli 16x16 vs 16x8.
