Can anyone please tell me how reliable these reading are that I get using Motherboard Monitor 5.

On my other mb ( Gigabyte SIS 655 chipset, 2.5Ghz 533FSB ) I get full load temps as high as 68 C.

On my new mb ( Asus P4C800, 2.8 Ghz 800FSB ) in the same case with the 5 fans and and solid copper HSF ( my 2.5 also got one ) it one goes to 53 C.

I am starting the doubt the accuracy of these readings, how close are they to the true readings ?

Try speedfanand use diode temps to compare. Another option is to grab something like a vantec nexus and plop the thermal diode on ur hsf as close to core as possible. My nexus temp is within 1C of my Hardware Doctor temps.
