Motherboard Swapping Question??????

I currently have a MSI K7T Pro2-A with a 1.1ghz system up an running. I'm currently interested in the Iwill KK266 motherboard, could I just swap out the motherboards and just fire up the system???

Since my currently config has the Via 4-in-1 drivers installed on my HDD would I need to do a clean install?

I did the SAME exact thing just last week. Athlon 1100 with Pro2A to KK266. MUCH better motherboard. Yes, just swap out and reboot if Win 9x/Me. If Win NT/2000 a re-install is needed.

I also had to re-install some drivers like Geforce and Via 4-in-1's, not bad though.

Try running the chip at 150x8, that was easy with the KK266.

I just sold the 1100 and I am currently running my Duron 600 @ 6x155 or 933mhz.
