I have a friend who can't save his money. Currently he has a Sempron socket 754.
Is there a way to fit this on a socket 939 because he wants to upgrade later on in life without having to change his mobo again. He needs a board with PCI-E 16x.

On newegg this says CPU Type - Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64/Sempron but it says Socket 939.
The Sempron is a socket 754. Will it still work?
