Motherboard recommendation

Last time I built computer was the end of 02, so im not really up on the new stuff. I already have a 1214 am2 opteron F3 stepping, and i am in between the m2n32-ws pro or the crosshair. I would like overclock it as much as possible w/o going to water cooling. was also considering the lanparty UT SLI-M2R/G and M2N32-SLI Deluxe. im a about average overclocker, but don't know much about the newer stuff. please help

I have just received an Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe WiFi motherboard, and the manual doesn't show what to do with the small squirrel cage fan. It kinda looks like it should fit atop one of the sets of aluminum fins attached to the heat pipes, but is too small for the larger set, and too large for the smaller set of fins.

I ran a search, and the OP here never got any answer to his question. I hope that doesn't mean I won't, either. Anyone ever seen that fan attached anywhere to one of these?
