Motherboard recommendation ?

Now that I rather BUY new motherboards instead of sending old non compatible ones back for repair what should I look for.

I like to get something like a i815 but all the review has some driver issues with Win98SE.

Got a bunch of FC-PGAs but also Celeron PPGAs.

Would like to avoid VIA for a while again but would opt for a Asus P3V4X

Asus CUSL2 looks decent but couldn't find it on pricewatch. They only have Abit boards..
 
I have the P3V4X and it is the best motherboard I have ever owned...and the best part it's not from Abit!! 🙂

CUSL2 is really a nice board. Just wait a little bit longer for it. It's out here in Asia, so it won't be long before it starts turning up over there in North America.
 
Every site I have been to has given the Asus CUSL2 great reviews,so wait for this ,btw I will probably buy one myself.
