Ive been doing alot of reading on reviews and such and reading other peoples comments. I am trying to figure out what motherboard and ram I should buy next. It is going to be a Abit IS7-G or Asus P4P800 I think. The motherboard I really want is the Gigabyte, but that is $215 so.... Anyways, I keep seeing people having problems with certain ram combos on motherboards. I am going to get corsair, but Im not sure which is better for stability/speed, the 3200 xms or 3500 DDR400. I know 3200 has 2-2-2-5, and 3500 timers are a bit higher. Id rather take faster speed if at all possible. Also Im not sure if its better to have 2x 256mb(512 total) or 2x 512 (1gb total) in terms of stability and speed. Would the corsair 3200 2-2-2-5 be fine with either of those mobos? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I run 3200 Corsair at DDR430 at 2.5-3-3-6 timings and have ran 2-2-3-6 at DDR400.

3500 should be able to handle lower timings at 430Mhz
