I recently aquired a used Giga-Byte GA-6BX7 motherboard that needed a new BIOS chip becuase the original owner had a bad flash.

I purchased a new BIOS chip from badflash.com and installed it. Cleared the CMOS and powered up. All the drives, CPU fan, etc all powers up however nothing is displayed. Have tried an agp card and swapping to a pci card and still nothing. The monitor is not getting any signal.

Anyone have any ideals, suggestions?

A friend of mine had the same problem with an iwill kk266. We set it up and he went on vacation for a couple of weeks. When he got back he used it once and then it wouldn't post or anything. We tried different vid cards, different ram, different processor, different hdd, and we even went as far as pulling it all apart and putting it all back together again from scratch.....all yielding no results. He took it in to two computer shops in town and they both couldn't tell him what was wrong with it. He sent it back to the place he bought it from and is getting a new one. I know this doesn't help your situation, but I'd like to know what would be wrong with the iwill board as well. It sounds like they have the same or similar problem(s).
