Motherboard Question...

A year back I bought an Asus P5N-SLI from Geeks.com for a system I was going to build. I am not one to overclock, or video edit. I am however someone who occasionally plays an online game. I never got around to building that rig, and I am now considering building the new gaming machine ( I still use a socket 478 system currently.) Would this motherboard suffice for what I want to use it for?

All advice and help is appreciated. 😉

Ok lets try this...

Is the Asus P5N-SLI still a good board to base a new system off of?

I will be gaming, email, web, online trading.

I will not be overclocking...just looking to build a stable gaming rig.

Yes. It will suit you fine. Make sure you visit the ASUS site and double check the supported CPU list. The board is based on 650i chipset and it may or may not support all Penryn (45nm) CPUs. Conroe (65nm) CPUs should work fine.
